PASTOR DAN MORIARITY'S BACKGROUND: I grew up attending a Presbyterian Church as a child but I didn’t come to know the Lord until age nineteen. Tragedy visited our family in 1966 when my sister contracted a then- fatal kidney disease. She had two kidney transplants and was subsequently saved in the hospital in 1971.She told me the “good news” and five years later I got saved. I immediately got involved with the Navigators for three years. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1979 and came to Denver to attend seminary in 1982. I graduated in 1985 with a Masters of Divinity degree. I worked for several years part-time at Corona Presbyterian Church on Capitol Hill in Denver. I began doing open-air evangelism in 1985. In 1986 I formed a small independent ministry emphasizing evangelism.Later in 1986 we formed a house church. We have won hundreds to Christ and handed out more than 400,000 salvation tracts. We are currently feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and supporting other ministries like Compa Food Bank, Wycliffe, and Samaritan’s Purse. I am married and have three lovely children. |
